It's been a busy holiday season here at Goat Milk Stuff. The children are knitting like crazy to earn Christmas money to buy all their siblings (and maybe even their parents) some presents. There is lots of whispering and plotting and giggling. We’re excited for Christmas and pray that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!
New Soaps
We now have Frankincense and Myrrh available for the holiday season. We also have Dessert Tray available as a limited edition soap. Both soaps are only available while supplies last.
Bulk Bath Fizzy
We’ve added bath fizzies in a bulk size for severe bath addicts! We’re even making lemon verbena, peppermint, and baby powder available in this size for those of you who were going into withdrawal.
Soap Logs
We changed the pricing on our soap logs. They are now $36 each if you buy one, and the price decreases as you buy more. When you reach 6 logs, they are just $25 each log. Oatmeal, Milk & Honey and Purity logs are ready to ship. We’ll be adding more scents as the logs gain in popularity. We have also ordered a 6 log mold, so if you would like a custom batch of 6 logs, just contact us.
The Oprah Magazine
We have an exciting announcement! We've been told that you can read about Goat Milk Stuff and the Jonas Family in Oprah magazine! We are scheduled to be in the January edition which should be available early to mid December. We don’t have many details, and have not seen it. We’re praying that it is wonderful and that O readers react very positively to our story and our stuff. We’ve been working hard at getting our soap inventory and our website ready. If anybody sees any errors on our website or anything that you think should be explained more clearly, please let us know!
Christmas Shipping
We normally ship out orders within 48 business hours of receiving them. When we were on the Today Show, this fell to about 72 hours for the first three days. We don’t know what kind of response to expect from our appearance in O magazine, but if it’s huge, it may take us longer to ship out orders. Please take this into consideration when placing your orders for Christmas. We will try to keep the Goat Milk Stuff Facebook page updated if our shipping times are delayed.
Customer Reward Points
There’s been a lot of confusion lately about our reward point program. For every $1 you spend (not counting shipping) you earn 1 point. You can redeem 20 points for $1 off your purchase at checkout. To use the points, when you get to checkout, the shopping cart will ask you to choose your payment method. Choose “Customer Reward Points” (the fourth option). The shopping cart will ask you on the next page how many points you want to use (it will also tell you how many you have available). It will adjust your balance and you can pay the rest as you normally would. Unfortunately, we cannot redeem your reward points for you if you forget to do it. But don’t worry, they don’t expire!
Coupon Codes
You must redeem coupon codes at the time you place your order. If you have trouble using the coupon code, please contact us before you place your order. Once your order has been placed, we can only credit your account with reward points. We cannot refund any payments you made. Do not put the coupon code in the “notes” section of the shopping cart. If you do not know where to enter the code, here is a screen shot with arrows pointing to the location:
Television Interviews
For those of you in the Louisville area, we’re going to be on WHAS-11 with Rachel Platt this upcoming Tuesday, 12/6. We’re supposed to arrive at 8:45 am, so I imagine we’ll be on around 9:00.

Upcoming Shows
Our last show of the year will be the 2011 Stewart Christmas Show at the KY State Fairgrounds, Dec 9-11. We will only be bringing bar soap with us, so if you need anything else, please place an order and request that we bring it to the fairgrounds with us. We’re hoping to see many of you there!
Homestead Happenings
Colter and Emery are very excited because they just gained extra hours in their week. Every year, we stop milking the goats for two months before they are due to have their kids. This gives the goats’ bodies a rest, and it also gives the boys a rest too! Not milking during the coldest months of the year also helps the boys to stay excited about the goats and enjoy milking them.
While the boys are enjoying a lessening of the goat chores, the girls are enjoying their new Christmas dresses:
Notice the sparkly leggings. I think those are their favorite part!
