The Jonases are back from our tour of the Southeast part of the United States, and we’re ready to get back to work! We’ve got lots of new stuff in the works and can’t wait to share it with you.
Registering on the WebsiteNone of our customer data transferred when we put up the new website. So if it is your first time ordering on the new shopping cart, you’ll have to register one time for the new website.
New SoapWe were very busy before we left for vacation and now we’ve got several new soaps ready for you. We’ve expanded our line of exclusively essential oil soaps. In addition to our peppermint and tea tree, we now have lavender, lemongrass, and rosemary spearmint. If you’re a spearmint fan, the rosemary spearmint is absolutely awesome. We also have a mimosa mandarin that is ready as well.
Shaving SoapWe’ve heard from all the ladies out there who have fallen in love with our shaving soap, and who want it in a less masculine scent. We now have the shaving soap ready in both oatmeal, milk & honey and unscented.
Lotion TubsWe’ve gotten so much positive feedback from our lotion sticks, and several requests for larger sizes, that we’re now making available a lotion tub. It’s the same great solid lotion you’ve come to love in a larger, more economical size.
Price ChangesWe’ve changed our pricing structure to reflect our rise in costs since we started making soap. The prices on the website are variable. The bar soaps range from $5.50 to $6.00 while the exclusively essential oil soaps range from $6.25 - $6.50. We’ve left the limited editions at $5, so if money is tight, you can still get your goat milk soap. If you pick up your soaps at a show or here at the homestead, we’re just charging an even $6 for the soaps.
Customer Reward PointsWe started our customer rewards program to thank all of our loyal customers. One of the things we’ve always hated is when people order a day or two before the newsletter comes out and miss the newsletter special. The customer reward points are designed to reward you for your loyalty to Goat Milk Stuff independent of the newsletter.
Our customer reward points are up and running and many of you have already started to rack them up. You earn points with every GMS purchase you make. You get 1 point for every dollar you spend (not counting shipping). Every 20 points is worth $1. You can use your points at checkout. You have to wait til a subsequent purchase to use the points you earned on a current purchase.
FacebookIf you're a member of Facebook, don't forget to become a fan of our Goat Milk Stuff page. Our Facebook page is where we interact and ask for feedback and opinions about what products and scents we make. It's also where you can find out about new stuff we're testing before it's made available on the website.
Soap SavingsTo say thank you to our newsletter subscribers, for the remainder of July, when you spend a minimum of $10, you may choose one free bar from the limited editions page. To use the coupon, make sure you have at least $10 in your shopping cart. Then add your limited edition soap so you’ll have at least $15 in the shopping cart. You’re now ready to enter the coupon code “Vacation” (no quotes, capital V) in the checkout section of the shopping cart. The shopping cart will deduct $5 from your order, thereby giving you your limited edition free.
Homestead HappeningsWe had the most wonderful vacation. Bekah did a wonderful job taking care of everything for us. We attended my brother’s wedding in Florida, vacationed with family on Topsail Island in North Carolina, toured Monticello and the University of Virginia (where Jim and I met and got engaged), and spent time with friends we haven’t seen in years.
We love our goats and our soap, but really enjoyed the time away to just play around and have fun.
