I can't believe that it is already November – but it must be, because the trees are losing all their leaves. The weather is cooling down here in Indiana, and the goats are getting all furry. We’re hoping everyone is ready for the holidays and we’ve tried to make it easy for you to make it a Goat Milk Stuff holiday season. This newsletter contains a lot of changes at Goat Milk Stuff and we hope you enjoy most of them!
New Soaps
Our Evergreen seasonal soap is back as well as our new Havana limited edition. We’ve had a lot of people asking when the evergreen would be back and it’s here for only a limited time, so if you want it, don’t delay. We sold out of the pumpkin soap in three weeks and we don’t know how long the evergreen will last.
The Harvest soap was a bigger hit than we thought it would be. We also sold out of that in just a few weeks. Jim already has more made and on the curing racks. We’ll get it listed as soon as it is safe to ship.
Liquid Soap
Due to some issues with shipping, we are changing the way that we sell our liquid soap. We used to sell it in foamer bottles that were already filled with liquid soap. We will now be selling it in 2 oz trial size or 18 oz refill bottles with screw tops. This will prevent leaking during shipping. We also have empty foamer bottles available on our website for you to use.
Favors
We now have soap favors available on the website. You can choose from travel bars, half bars, or small bath fizzies. If you need fewer than 50 of them for your special event, please email us.
Discontinued Scents
Many of you know that we’ve purchased a new property, but due to the complexity of building a commercial building (and all the permits and such), it doesn’t look like we’ll be moving into a new soap room anytime soon. Because of that, we’ve had to do some scrambling to create some more room at our current location. We have narrowed down our scent selection on much of our “other stuff”. As a result, we’ve put a lot of these discontinued scents on sale to move them out.

Candles
For the holidays, we’ve made some scented soy candles and wickless tarts for people to enjoy. We don’t have accurate burn times on the candles yet, but it looks to be in the 30 hour range.
Soap Logs
We’ve had many requests over the years for us to sell soap logs. We now have molds available for us to do this. Each mold makes 24 logs that weigh approximately 3 pounds. We are going to presell the logs. Once we have orders for most of the logs in a batch, we will make the soap, let it sit for a couple of days and then ship it out to you.
Goats
We just sent blood samples off to the lab for goat pregnancy tests. Hopefully the girls are all bred and we’ll be having lots of baby goats (and milk) in just a few months! We are very excited about some of the pairings since we brought in new bloodlines this year. It is not too early to start thinking about reserving your kids now. We also have one milker for sale that is still being milked once daily.
Homestead Happenings
With the cold weather coming, we’re doing a lot to get ready for winter. We’ve got to get the goats out of their “summer shelter” and ready to be housed in the barn where their automatic waterer won’t freeze. We’ve also got to get our winter wood supply for the house. We haven’t had a single fire yet, despite how much the children keep asking for one. But I don’t think it will be too much longer. Here is a photo of the boys working to stack the wood:
Upcoming Shows
Our last show of the year will be the 2011 Stewart Christmas Show at the KY State Fairgrounds, Dec 9-11. We will only be bringing bar soap with us, so if you need anything else, please place an order and request that we bring it to the fairgrounds with us. We’re hoping to see many of you there!

Directions for using free shipping coupon:
1. If you are a new customer, register by clicking on the "Register / Login" link at the top of the website.
2. If you are an existing customer, log in to your account by clicking "Register / Login" at the top of the website. (Note: If it says "My Account" then you are already logged in.)
3. If your subtotal is $75 or greater, go to the shopping cart page, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under where it says "Clear Cart" "Update" and "Checkout" in orange ovals, it will say "Redeem a Coupon Code". In this box enter just one code - "holiday" (do not use quotation marks).
4. Your coupon expires midnight November 30th. It will not work after that date.
Troubleshooting:
If it does not say "Redeem a Coupon Code" then you are not registered and logged in. If it says "coupon invalid" then your subtotal is not $75 or greater, or you've already used the coupon code.
