Goat Milk Soap Review by Diane at Turning the Clock Back
One of the luxuries that I love is good soap. A hot shower in the morning to wake me up or a nice hot bath in the evening to wind me back down. I occasionally even get to indulge without little voices calling "mommmmmmmyyyy!" Seems like every time you close the bathroom door, a crisis occurs that only mommy can solve!
I, unfortunately, have been cursed with very sensitive skin. No bubble baths or soaps with harsh chemicals or I will regret it for days! I am always on the lookout for companies that provide all natural soaps with limited ingredients, real essential oils, and use only the purest of ingredients. I have found a great company that does just that with Goat Milk Stuff!
For those of you who have never heard of this company, here is some information from their website about their philosophies on soap making and why they work so hard with their company.
Why did we start Goat Milk Stuff? It's simple: the bad stuff in other soaps just got our goat.We started Goat Milk Stuff just over four years ago out of a very simple desire – to not use chemicals on our children's skin. We had such a great time making our goat milk soap and were so impressed with its quality, that we had to share it with others.Since then, GMS has become more than just our family business, it's come to represent who we are and what we stand for. From raising and milking our Alpine goats, to producing all of our soaps, everything about our products was created solely by the ten members of our family. So every time you use our products, think of it as a little slice of our own wholesome family goodness – directly from our family to you. Enjoy!
Don't those soaps look scrumptious? You can find the entire selections of scents HERE. The scents I chose to review were the Rosemary Mint and the Honeysuckle. These soaps were not drying to my skin at all. I guess it is the goats milk that makes the lather so creamy and keeps it from drying out your skin. I even put these soaps to the ultimate test: SHAVING! I rarely buy shaving cream (I always seem to forget to put it on my grocery list!) so I usually end up shaving with soap. This soap was great for shaving...no nicks, no rash, no dry skin! And they SMELL heavenly!
Goats Milk Stuff not only makes soap but they also have a line of Bath Bombs, laundry soaps, and a whole assortment of other stuff that you can browse through HERE. I even noticed that they have a shaving soap...I may have to try that one!
Remember, what we put on our skin ends up in our bodies and what we use in our showers and baths goes right down the drain and into our water supplies. By using natural ingredients like this Goats Milk Stuff, you can do your part to improve your health and that of our environment!
