Goats To Soap

Ever wonder how we go from baby goats to goat milk soap?

First, you start with a female baby goat.

Goat To Soap

Then you feed that baby goat (and her friends) lots of milk.

And lots of hay.

And lots of trees.

Goat To Soap

When the baby goat is about 7 months old, you breed her to a buck.

Then you take really good care of her during her pregnancy and make sure she stays nice and healthy.

Goat To Soap

You help her deliver her healthy kids.

And then you start milking her.

Goat To Soap

You make sure to feed her colostrum back to her kids so that they get off to a healthy start.

Then you take her milk to the soaproom.

Goat To Soap

You add it to the other soap ingredients.

Goat To Soap

Then you mix it up a lot.

Goat To Soap

You pour it into molds.

And let it sit overnight.

Goat To Soap

Then you take it out of the molds.

Goat To Soap

And cut it into bars.

Goat To Soap

You put the bars onto the curing racks and let them sit there for at least six weeks.

Goat To Soap

Then you put the bar of soap into a Goat Milk Stuff bag.

Goat To Soap

And tie it.

Goat To Soap

And now it is ready to be enjoyed!

Goat To Soap

We put a lot of love and attention into every bar of goat milk soap we make.  We think all that extra effort is worth it and hope you agree!
