Placing an Order

How do I place an online order?

You need to have a registered account on our website before you can check out. To register, click on the top of the website where it says "register/login" and then click on the right where it says "new customer? click here". Fill out all of that information and an account will be created for you. You can then shop and complete your order online.

Please be aware that all of the fields can be modified except for "username". That field cannot be changed. It is case sensitive, so please choose it wisely. We don't recommend using an email for your username, as that is likely to change in the future.


Can I order on the website without creating an account?

We no longer have the option to checkout as a guest. This was available in the past, but we had so many customers get confused because they knew they had ordered in the past and thought they had registered an account (when in fact they had not). They would get frustrated because they couldn't figure out their username and password. The only difference between creating an account and checking out as a guest is the creation of a username and password. All the other required information is the same.


Do I have to enter all my personal information?

We request your name and address so we can ship your order to you. We request your phone number in case we have a question or problem with your order. We request your email address so we can communicate with you about the status of your order and so we can send you the tracking number for your package. We never share your personal information and we only contact you by phone if there is a question about the order that you placed.


What do I do if I canít log into my account?

The most common login problem occurs because login information is case sensitive. It is usually the capital or lowercase letters that prevent people from successfully logging in. This is particularly a problem with smart phones that have auto-correct and change the letters you type.

When you request your password be sent to you, please make sure that you are paying attention not only to the case of the letters you are entering, but also to what your device enters them as. If you still have difficulty, please contact us and we can help you get into your account.


Why canít I find the account I created?

Signing up for the newsletter does not create an account on our website. You need to create an actual account on our website. If you have done that and still can't find your account, you may have had a typo when you created the account. Just contact us and we can locate your account for you.


Do you take phone orders?

Yes, we can take your order over the phone. Just call us at 812-752-0622 and we'll be glad to place your order. Please be aware that we only have one phone line, so if your call goes to voicemail within working hours, we're probably speaking with somebody else. Just leave us a message and we will return your call.


Can I send an order through the mail?

Yes, you can place an order through the mail. Be sure to include all of your contact information (including phone number) and the exact soaps and sizes you want. We also have a catalog and price list available. Just call us at 812-752-0622 and we can mail you a copy.


Can I receive free samples?

We do not have any free samples available. If you would like to try a scent before committing to a full bar, we have smaller travel bars available. We also have an entire sample pack if you would like a sampling of most of our regular soaps. And don't forget to sign up to receive our monthly newsletter which always contains a special.


I already placed my order Ė can I make a change to it?

If you need to make a change to your order, please call us as soon as you realize that you need to make a change. We ship orders out very quickly and we will likely not receive an email in time. If you can't reach us by phone, please follow these steps.

To correct the address
  1. Go back on the website.
  2. Place another order with the correct shipping address.
  3. Choose "pay by phone" so you do not have to pay for the order again.
  4. Add a customer note that says, "This is the correct shipping address for order #xxxxx. If possible, please correct."
If we receive the correction in time we will correct the shipping address. If we do not receive it in time we will send you further instructions.

To Add Something to Your Order
  1. Go back to the website.
  2. Order JUST the additional items. Do NOT order the items you successfully ordered.
  3. Pay for the items.
  4. Add a customer note that says, "If possible, please combine with order #xxxxx".
We'll do our best to get the orders combined. If we are able to combine the orders, we will add extra products to offset any extra shipping you paid. If we are not able to combine them, we will ship them as two packages.


What if there is an error or problem with the order I received?

Simply contact us with your order number and what the problem is. You can also attach a photo if that helps clarify the situation. We will correct the problem as soon as possible.


Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?

Yes! Our products are used daily by our family and we're confident of their quality. We offer a 100% money back guarantee to our internet customers if there is a problem with the quality of any our items. This refund is on the cost of the product and not the shipping. To receive any refund on food, you must contact us the day the food is received. On all other items, you must return the product within 2 weeks of receiving it and we will promptly refund the cost of the product 100% once we receive it.

The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to bulk items (buy 9 get 1 free, lotion tubs, laundry refill, bulk bath fizzies) or custom orders unless they are defective or arrive with shipping damage. If you are new to a scent or product, please first try a smaller size before ordering the bulk size.


How do I make a return?

Returns can be shipped to: Goat Milk Stuff, 76 S Lake Rd N, Scottsburg, IN 47170. Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, email, and order number (if you have it). Add a note stating what you would like done (an exchange or refund).


Can I purchase your stuff locally?

We have a farm store at our farm in Scottsburg, Indiana, where you can purchase all of our items (plus some extras we don't offer on the website).

There are a few small stores and distributors (mostly in Indiana) that carry a selection of our products, but we cannot guarantee that they have our products in stock.
