Randy (photo at 4 months) is out of Red Bird, one of our newest Idaho does. Red Bird, as a two year old, has impressed us with her ease of milking and quantity of milk. She has a large udder that is well attached with teats that are very easy to hand milk. She peaked at 17 pounds of milk a day (8 pounds is a gallon). Randy's sire is Ned. Ned's dam, Nutmeg, was Open Show Grand Champion, Best Udder of Breed, and Best Udder in Show at the 2010 Indiana State Fair! She appraised EVEE 92 in 2010. If Randy doesn't sell, I'll be using him to breed this Fall.
