When we first started testing shaving soap, Jim didn't have a real shaving brush to use, so he used one of the children's large paint brushes. It worked (sort of), but can't compare to a real brush made for that purpose. He now uses one of these brushes, and loves it. The bristles are made from boar hair and produce a thick, rich lather from our shaving soap.
