We now have soy candles in 4 oz travel tins available. These tins have raised feet and won't break so they can travel with you. They are currently available in some of our favorite soap scents.
We chose to use soy because unlike paraffin candles (petroleum based), they are made from soybeans which are a renewable source. In fact, the majority of the world's soybeans are grown in Illinois, Iowa, and right here in Indiana, so we're supporting the US economy. Soy candles not only last up to 50% longer than paraffin candles, but they burn slower, cooler, and cleaner, which helps them hold their scent beautifully.
The first time you burn your candle, please trim the wick to 1/4" and make sure you burn it for long enough to let the wax melt across the entire top of the candle. This will help keep the candle from "tunneling" where it burns down the center and leaves wax along the sides.
Note: These candles are unlabeled except for a burning instruction label on the bottom of the candle.
