On one of the days that we did not have anything planned, Grammy and Gumpy suggested that we go to the skating rink near where they were staying. Everyone wanted to go, so we went!

It was a HUGE rink! Think the size of a basketball court. But bigger. And we had it entirely to ourselves…

The skating rink had these things. They were like walkers. They had bits of rubber on the bottom so that while they would slide, they would not tip over easily. Mom spent most of her time pushing Indigo around like this:

Dad and Aunt Kristin had not been on the ice for a LONG time, but they were still the best ones at it! (Ok, actually Gumpy was the best… I had forgotten about that):
