Outside Exercise

The weather here has been gorgeous lately. (Nope, hurricane Irene didn’t reach us here in Indiana.) We’ve had hot days, cooler nights, and low humidity.

We took advantage of the lovely weather to exercise outside. I thought you’d enjoy watching part of our “sprint 8” session. We basically sprint for 30 seconds then walk for 90 seconds. We do this eight times. It’s very intense.

You won’t see me on this first one because I was taking the video. But I did the last seven of them. Normally I run them on the treadmill. I’ll be honest, it’s a LOT harder doing it outside.  And it was a little humiliating getting passed by my children. At least I was faster than Jade and Indigo. LOL

Brett wants everyone to know that she strained her hip doing yoga a few days before this, so she couldn’t run very well. Normally she’s a lot faster.
