When we began Goat Milk Stuff, we went to a lot of craft fairs and festivals to sell our soap. As a homeschooling mom, I was thrilled because it gave the children a chance to meet and interact with a lot of people. They were able to practice their speaking skills and really learned a lot.
As the business has grown, we’ve done fewer shows as most of our time is spent processing internet orders. This means that my younger children didn’t get nearly as much time at shows as the older children. But a few weeks ago, we participated at the Madison Chautauqua Festival and Indigo had a blast sharing our soap with customers.
