Goat Milk Stuff Contest! – Now Closed

It’s kidding season at Goat Milk Stuff and soon there will be baby goats everywhere!  We’re going to have a contest to see if anyone can guess the number of baby girl and baby boy goats we’re having this season.

Last year we freshened 18 does and had 38 kids (14 doelings and 24 bucklings).  This year we are freshening 21 does.  Three goats have freshened so far and we are at 6 kids (5 doelings and 1 buckling – a much better ratio!).

To enter, leave a comment below with your guess (make sure you leave a way for us to contact you if you win).  We will choose a winner at random from the comments.  The winner will get a $25 Goat Milk Stuff gift certificate.  If somebody happens to guess the exact right outcome, they may also win something as well!

    I’ll guess 41 new kids, with 24 of them bucklings and 17 doelings.

    Just as an aside, 14 + 28 doesn’t equal 38, so I’m not sure which number was off.  Hoping it doesn’t throw off my guess too much  ;-)

Unfortunately the male has since died but momma lives happily at her home in a really nice pen my uncle built for her. She was going to be killed before mom rescued her. so, 43 is my guess cause it sounds like a nice number and of course I have to root for more little girls for you this year!!!!!! hope all goes well and you have lots and lots of sweet little babies running around soon.
