Family Photo Shoot

I’ve wanted to get an updated family photo for many months.  But as you can imagine, getting everyone ready is quite an endeavor.  We were supposed to do the photo last week, but with the accident, nobody was in the mood.

All the girls need hair cuts, so I was going to do that and then get the photo taken.  But since it was a bright, overcast day (perfect for photos because there is no direct sunlight to cause too many shadows), I decided to forget the haircuts and get the photos taken.

I’m so pleased with how they all came out!  Which one is your favorite?

  1. So cute – the youngest girls are still at the age where having their photo taken is fun, not embarrassing! LOL Was the coordinated color scheme decided ahead of time or did it just happen (as often does with families)? The pop of plaid is a great touch! Everyone looks wonderful!

    • I know, isn’t that shot of Indigo with her hands on her face adorable? Those are new shirts that we “tried” to coordinate. LOL PJ

  2. I love the one where all the children are holding hands, across the field.
All of them are so good. Hard to choose. But that one stood out for me.
    You have a lovely family.

    • Thanks so much, Donna! I love all of us together, but the ones with just the children make me happy too. I love seeing them together without Jim and I keeping them together (if that makes sense). PJ

  3. Great family pictures. My favorite is the family with the goat. LOL. All of them are wonderful though.
