Emery celebrated his 14th birthday! Since he is usually the one who bakes our breakfast birthday cakes, he decided he would rather enjoy donuts.
Emery is such an amazing young man. He told me that he was glad he was born in Spring and I agree – he has such a sunny attitude!
It’s funny… I was just thinking every time I see his pictures on here, he always has the biggest smile. Then I scroll down and you say he has a sunny personality. Smiles and sunshine, they definitely go together!

What a neat idea to have the birthday boy take a picture with each member of the family! That sounds like a fun tradition I could start with my family. ;0)
It’s a great one. It’s really nice to have those photos. And so often, you don’t get the one-on-one photos of the kids (if you have more than two LOL). PJ
