Homestead Happenings 10/20/2019

The first half of this week was pretty uneventful.

Coffee with the Chamber

But once we got to Wednesday, it got crazy! We hosted Coffee with the Chamber here. It’s so much fun to see everyone talking, and getting to meet new people. I love hosting it at our business, and showing everyone what we have to offer!

Dad in NC

As soon as that was over, Dad left to go on a trip with a friend of his to Charlotte, NC. He got to go see Mom’s cousins, and I’m SO jealous! I absolutely love them! He didn’t get to see all of them, because only some could make it.

Playing Frisbee

Because it’s getting colder, Frisbee season is about to end (at least with our friends). I’m super sad because I love playing. This was a photo from a few weeks ago, I don’t remember this exact play, but the expression on Emery’s face is hilarious!

Colter picking Basil

On Thursday, Colter picked a TON of basil! I don’t know the exact amount, but it was A LOT! Jade and Erin also helped him for a little while, which he was very grateful for.

Frisbee Team

Colter and Emery had a Frisbee tournament on Saturday! They played super well, and absolutely love their team.

We had our first Wine and Cheese event here! I’m under age so I wasn’t even allowed in the building. Which means I don’t know how it went. And everyone else was so busy helping people, that they forgot to get photos! 😀 If I do find any photos though, I will put them in next week’s post.

It was a great week, but I am ready for my uneventful (hopefully) Sunday!
