Mom with Carrie Wilkerson

Mom and Dad had a great time at the Igniting Souls conference. They got to meet one of Mom’s favorite speakers, Carrie Wilkerson, and got to talk to her for a little while! She’s as genuine in person, as she is online.

Tons of Sweet Potatoes

We harvested sweet potatoes on Thursday, and got two wheelbarrow’s full of them!

Greyden always likes to find the biggest one, and name it the Champion. While Hewitt was sorting them into bins (Greyden needed the wheelbarrows) he found the biggest one. It was so huge that we decided to weigh it.

Huge Sweet Potato

It was 6 lbs, 13.1 oz!! That is our biggest sweet potato ever! Mom did a facebook live showing it. You can check that out here.

FFA

The National FFA (Future Farmers of America) convention is hosted this year in Indianapolis, so it is a super busy week for us! Since we are a farm, a lot of FFA school groups will come through, and stop at our farm to do a tour. Emery, Dad, and Mason do most of the tours, with Mom, and Colter jumping in to help if needed. Emery told me on Friday that his voice was starting to go hoarse, just from talking to too many tours!

Jade and Indigo Robotics

On Saturday, Hewitt, Jade, and I went to a Robotics tournament. And both of our teams qualified for state!!! This was a much bigger tournament than last time. Because last time was just a league, and this was an actual tournament. We are super excited, and thankful for our family who covered for us while we did that!
