Goat Milk Shaving Soap Benefits

Nourishing, gentle and easy-to-use, Goat Milk Shaving Soap makes the job of shaving for men and women a pleasure. When shaving your face, the creamy lather makes accurate shaving easier, caring for your skin by leaving it super hydrated along the way. For legs and other body parts, the visibly creamy lather prevents you from missing hard-to-reach areas.

Every Goat Milk Shaving Soap contains skin-loving ingredients to keep your skin nourished and protected against hard water and the elements. Our favorites include clay to help your razor glide smoothly over your skin, and aloe to relieve any possible razor burn or irritation.

How to Use Goat Milk Shaving Soap

Getting a great shave isn’t hard, but there are a few handy steps we’ve created to help you get the closest shave possible without irritating your skin.

  • Thoroughly dampen the area you’re going to shave: Taking a shower or holding a moist washcloth over the area helps thoroughly wet the hair, leading to less irritation.
  • Use great tools: A high quality razor, shave brush, mug, and Goat Milk Shaving Soap are the perfect toolkit. Wet your shaving brush and stir it around the mug with the soap inside. Once you’ve created a foamy lather, you know you’re ready to start applying the soap foam! While using a shaving brush will build the most lather, many people find simple hand-lathering to be adequate for a smooth shave.
  • Technique: Follow the direction of your hair growth with each stroke of your razor. Keep strokes short while shaving your face, and always use gentle pressure.
  • Keep difficult areas wet: Rinse your razor after every 2-3 strokes and ensure you use a good lather around difficult areas. It’s OK if you need to go over some areas again, but make sure you have plenty of lather each time to prevent skin irritation.

Finish with a cool rinse: Whether you’re shaving your legs or your face, a cool rinse helps close pores and any small nicks in the skin that have occurred during the process.

Shaving Goat Milk Soap Size

We make shaving easy by offering one handy size of Goat Milk Shaving Soap. Each round shaving bar weighs 3 - 3.5 oz. and has a 3" diameter, which fits perfectly in most shaving bowls.

All soaps are weighed after their 6 week curing period. If they fall in the appropriate weight range, they are bagged. Please remember that as Goat Milk Soap ages and cures, it loses some water weight. So if the soap you order is much older than 6 weeks, it may weigh a little less than listed. But the longer soap cures, the harder it gets and the longer it lasts!

Shaving Goat Milk Soap Packaging

Each Goat Milk Shaving Soap arrives in a breathable cotton drawstring bag with your chosen scent stamped on the front. When your shaving bar is dry, you can store it in this bag for travel. If it is wet, we recommend putting it in a travel container or leaving it in the shaving mug.
