Almond Solid Lotion
Almond Solid Lotion
Solid lotion is wonderful for your skin. Because it does not contain any liquid ingredients, it does not require any chemical preservatives to keep bacteria from growing. Solid lotion is not creamy or "liquidy", but is similar to the consistency of lip balm.
Scent: The lotion itself has almond essential oil and has the scent of cherries.
Directions: Apply to your skin in stripes and then rub in. When applying to the face, rub lotion onto clean hands and then apply to face with your hands. Allow the lotion to sink into your skin and leave it feeling smooth and soft.
Be careful not to use too much lotion - solid lotion is not diluted with water the way liquid lotions are. If it is not fully absorbed in two minutes, you are applying too much.
Your skin should NOT feel greasy. If it does, you are applying too much lotion.
Sizes: The lotion comes in two different sizes. The small stick is very convenient to keep in your pocket or purse. The large stick is the easiest to apply as it only takes one or two passes on your limbs.
- Small Stick: 0.5 oz
- Large Stick: 2 oz
Different Formulas: If you have an allergy, there are two different solid lotion recipes to choose from. The orange label recipe has a lower melting point and feels softer, while the higher melting point of the red label recipe makes it feel more solid. Both formulas are equally wonderful on your skin and neither is better than the other. They're just different so that people with allergies have a choice.
Red Label Ingredients: Soybean oil; Beeswax; Sunflower oil; Cocoa butter; Shea butter; Vitamin E; Dehydrated Goat Milk; Almond essential oil.
Orange Label Ingredients: Sweet almond oil; Coconut oil; Beeswax; Avocado oil; Cocoa Butter; Mango Butter; Dehydrated Goat Milk; Almond essential oil.
Please note that we are still using up old labels and "dehydrated goat milk" will not be listed on the label.
Allergy Warning: If you are concerned about an allergic reaction, test the lotion on a small part of your skin and stop using if irritation occurs.
