Commonly used in aromatherapy, Lavender exudes a floral and sweet scent that is revered for its calming effects. As an adaptogen, Lavender naturally relaxes the nervous system, making it the perfect companion for your wind-down ritual before bed or any time you need a moment of peace and clarity. Characterized by the delicate purple hue of its flowers, Lavender may seem airy and light, but the plant is actually complex and resilient — which reminds us of our gentle, but effective Goat Milk Solid Lotions.

Lavender Solid Goat Milk Lotion Benefits

plus minus

When your skin needs extra moisture, it's important to choose the most nourishing ingredients possible. Generally, liquid lotions require chemical preservatives to prevent bacteria from growing. While commercial liquid lotions may contain irritating chemicals, our solid Goat Milk Lotion Stick instead focuses on simple, nourishing, and natural ingredients.

Rather than being creamy or “liquidy,” our solid lotion has a similar consistency to a lip balm. The lack of water in our lotion not only concentrates the goodness for your skin, but also prevents bacteria and other nasties (that can be found in liquid lotion) from growing.

The addition of dehydrated goat milk with its lactic acid, Vitamin A, selenium, and other natural compounds, further benefits your skin. When you regularly use the Lavender Solid Goat Milk Lotion, your skin is in for an extra treat full of nourishing goodness.

There are two different Solid Goat Milk Lotion Stick formulas available. Both are great, and neither is better than the other. We offer two formulas so that if you have an ingredient allergy or concern, you have an option.

Both formulas contain goat milk, beeswax, and cocoa butter. The red label formula also contains soybean oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. The orange label formula instead contains sweet almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, and mango butter.

The red label feels more solid, while the orange label has a lower melting point and feels softer. While some people have a preference, others switch throughout the year based on the seasons. They use the red label during the warmer summer months and the orange label during the colder winter months.

If you are new to solid goat milk lotion, we recommend trying one formula and then the other. If you have very young, very old, or irritated skin, the orange label applies more easily (since it is softer) and is usually the better one to begin with.

How To Use Lavender Solid Goat Milk Lotion

Since this solid lotion comes in a tube format, apply where needed to your skin in stripes, then rub in with your hands. When using on your face, first rub the lotion onto your clean hands, then gently smooth over your face. Allow the lotion to sink into your skin, and it will leave it feeling soft and smooth.

Be careful not to use too much lotion! The lotion should be fully absorbed into your skin in two minutes or less. Since Solid Goat Milk Lotion is not diluted with water (the way liquid lotions are), you only need to use a little bit. Your skin should not feel greasy - if it does, you’ve used too much lotion.

The Goat Milk Lotion Stick comes in a twist-up stick with a cap that is similar to a lip balm. The stick can be raised and lowered during use.
