Our family was saddened to hear about the destruction, devastation, and loss of life caused by the recent tornados in Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

We remember vividly what it's like to be in the vicinity of a tornado. On March 2, 2012 we watched an F4 tornado cross within 2 miles of our home and destroy, kill, maim, damage, and disrupt the lives of friends and neighbors. When a tornado struck our town, we watched as Samaritan's Purse came in and was a beacon of light immediately and for months following the tornado.

Our oldest son, Colter, will be driving down to Kentucky to work with Samaritan's Purse to help with the relief efforts for the Friday tornadoes. He will be bringing with him many of our extra cleaning supplies and soap to donate to the relief efforts.

The children wanted to open the opportunity for others to donate soap to this relief effort. For each bar of soap you order (with this link only), we will bring 3 bars of soap with us to give directly to the victims and rescue and relief workers.

Details:

  • You will not receive any soap.
  • For each bar of soap you order, we will donate 3 bars.
  • Do not order any soap for yourself, anything you order will go directly to the relief effort.
  • There are no shipping fees.

If Colter can't hand out the soap directly to victims, he will give it to Samaritan's Purse to distribute directly to tornado victims. These soaps will not be resold or used elsewhere.

You can also donate directly to Samaritan's Purse Tornado Relief.
