Description
Description
Give your pet all of the nourishment their skin and fur needs, and none of the nonsense. Our Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar is ideal for keeping your furry friends fresh without any unnecessary ingredients.
Scent
Scent
Pet Bar Unscented soap has no added scent.
The unscented soap varieties smell like soap, yet do not have any added scents or fragrances (including essential oils!) to reduce the risk of irritation. Unscented soap does still have a smell because the ingredients used in soap production contain natural scents that we do not chemically remove. For example, coconut oil smells like coconut oil, milk smells like milk, and unscented soap smells like unscented soap.
If you are hyper-sensitive to scents in general, start with a smaller sized bar to make sure the pure soap smell itself is not irritating.
Please be aware that we make many scented products in our Soaproom. While there is no added scent to the Pet Bar Unscented Goat Milk Soap itself, when you receive your soap you may be able to smell scents on the exterior of your soap and the packaging it arrives in. If you are extremely sensitive to scent, you can remove the packaging and even wash with the soap once to remove any scent that may have settled out of the air onto your soap.
We would love to someday have a separate building dedicated to unscented products and packaging, but unfortunately, we don't have that ability at present.

Ingredients
Ingredients
Raw goat milk; Saponified palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil; Aloe.
Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.
Sustainable Palm Oil
Palm oil has great cleansing properties, making it effective at removing dirt, oils, and impurities from the skin. It creates a creamy and stable lather in soap, making the soap rich and foamy! It can help retain moisture in the skin by forming a protective barrier. It contributes to the durability and longevity of the soap, making it less likely to dissolve or become mushy when in contact with water. Sustainable palm oil production helps to end deforestation, protect wildlife and habitats, and treat local people fairly.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is a natural emollient, and can keep your skin hydrated and nourished. Its healthy fats can penetrate deeply into your skin, leaving it soft and supple. It is packed with antioxidants like vitamin E and polyphenols that can help neutralize free radicals and reduce inflammation caused by sun damage. This can help prevent signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines. It contains anti-inflammatory compounds that can help soothe your skin as well as natural antimicrobial compounds that can help fight bacteria on your skin.
Castor Oil
If you have acne, rosacea, or any other inflammatory skin condition, castor oil's anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe your skin and reduce redness. It contains antimicrobial and antibacterial properties that can help prevent bacteria growth on your skin, which can help you avoid skin infections and breakouts. Castor oil is rich in antioxidants that can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on your skin.
Aloe
Aloe is excellent for dry or irritated skin because it contains polysaccharides that can retain moisture. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties and can help soothe and reduce redness, swelling, and pain from razor burn. It promotes collagen production which helps to heal any minor cuts and nicks from shaving. It also has anti-bacterial properties which aids in preventing skin infections.
Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.
Directions
Directions

Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar is designed for regular dog baths when you want a simple, fragrance-free way to wash away dirt, outdoor grime, and everyday pet smells. It is a farm-fresh, from-scratch goat milk soap made with simple ingredients including raw goat milk, saponified oils, and aloe. The creamy lather spreads easily through your dog’s coat and rinses out well, which is especially helpful for dogs who do not enjoy long bath times.
Because it has no added fragrance or essential oils, it is a smart option for pet owners who prefer a simpler grooming product. It is not a medicated shampoo and is not intended to treat skin conditions, but it is a gentle-feeling choice for keeping your dog clean, soft, and comfortable after bathing.

Is there any added fragrance?
No. The Unscented Pet Goat Milk Soap has no added fragrance and no essential oils. It may still have a natural “soap” smell from the ingredients themselves, because we do not chemically remove the natural scent of goat milk, oils, or finished soap.

Unscented does not mean the bar has no smell at all. It means we do not add fragrance oils or essential oils to the Unscented Pet Goat Milk Soap. The finished bar may still smell like plain soap because the ingredients used to make soap naturally have their own mild scent. Goat milk, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, palm oil, and aloe all contribute to the finished bar.
Because our Soaproom also makes scented products, a little scent can sometimes settle on the outside packaging during normal handling. If you or your pet are extremely scent-sensitive, remove the packaging and rinse the outside of the bar before the first full bath. The soap itself is still made without added scent.

How do I wash my pet?
Wet your pet’s coat and the soap bar, then rub the bar or your hands through the fur to create a creamy lather. Wash gently, avoid the eyes, rinse thoroughly, and let the bar dry completely on a draining soap rest between baths.
How do I wash my pet?
Wet your pet’s coat and the soap bar, then rub the bar or your hands through the fur to create a creamy lather. Wash gently, avoid the eyes, rinse thoroughly, and let the bar dry completely on a draining soap rest between baths.
Start by thoroughly wetting your pet’s coat with comfortable water. Wet the soap bar too, then rub the bar directly over the coat or lather it in your hands first. Work the creamy lather through the fur, paying attention to dirty areas while avoiding the eyes, inner ears, nose, and mouth. Once your pet is clean, rinse very thoroughly until the coat no longer feels soapy. This is important because any cleanser left behind can feel uncomfortable after the bath.
Towel dry your pet as usual. Afterward, place the bar on a soap rest or draining dish so air can reach it from all sides. Keeping the bar dry between uses helps it last longer and prevents it from becoming soft.

Is it for sensitive pets?
It is a good option for pet owners who want a simple, fragrance-free soap for dogs or cats. The Unscented Pet Bar has no added scent or essential oils, but every pet is different, so patch test first and stop using it if irritation occurs.

If your pet does best with simple grooming products, Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar is the best pet soap choice from Goat Milk Stuff. It has no added fragrance and no essential oils, which makes it a practical option for dogs and cats whose owners prefer to avoid extra scent at bath time.
Because pets can react differently to any grooming product, we recommend a patch test before the first full bath. Wash a small area, rinse well, and watch for any signs that the product does not agree with your pet. If you notice irritation, discontinue use. If your pet has ongoing scratching, allergies, hot spots, sores, or a diagnosed skin condition, treat that as a veterinary issue rather than relying on a grooming soap.

Can I use this soap on cats?
Yes. The Unscented Pet Bar is the pet soap we recommend for cats because it has no added fragrance or essential oils. Since cats groom themselves by licking their fur, choosing the unscented version is the more cautious choice for cat bath time.

The Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar is the best Goat Milk Stuff pet soap choice for cats because it does not contain added fragrance or essential oils. Cats spend a lot of time licking their fur after a bath, so we prefer the simpler unscented formula for feline grooming.
Use only when your cat truly needs a bath, keep lather away from the eyes and ears, and rinse thoroughly so no soap remains in the coat. The goal is simple cleansing: removing dirt, residue, and odors while leaving the coat feeling clean and soft. If your cat has a known skin problem, allergy concern, open skin, or unusual reaction after bathing, it is best to ask your veterinarian for guidance.

Why choose a bar over pet shampoo?
A goat milk pet soap bar is easy to hold, simple to use, and helps you control where the lather goes. Many pet owners like that this bar creates a creamy lather, rinses cleanly, and does not require pouring liquid shampoo across a wiggly dog or cat.

A bar soap can make pet bath time easier because you can wet the bar, rub it directly onto the coat, and build lather only where you need it. That gives you more control than squeezing liquid shampoo into your hand or onto a moving pet. Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar also rinses thoroughly when used as directed, which helps shorten bath time and reduce leftover residue in the coat.
It is a good fit for pet owners who want a simple grooming product made with raw goat milk and saponified oils instead of a long list of unnecessary extras. After bathing, place the bar on a draining soap rest so it can dry between uses. A dry bar lasts longer and stays easier to handle.

Will it leave my pet’s coat soft?
Yes, it is designed to leave your pet’s coat feeling clean, soft, and fresh after washing. The creamy goat milk lather helps remove dirt and everyday grime without added fragrance, making it a simple choice for dogs and cats who need a gentle-feeling bath.

Unscented Goat Milk Soap Pet Bar is made to clean your pet’s coat while leaving it feeling soft and touchable after a proper rinse. The bar contains raw goat milk, saponified palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, and aloe. Together, those ingredients create a creamy lather that helps lift away dirt and everyday buildup from fur.
Because there is no added fragrance or essential oil, the after-bath result is clean and simple rather than perfumed. This is especially helpful if you want your pet to smell fresh without covering them in a strong scent. For the best feel, rinse thoroughly and avoid over-bathing. If your pet has unusual skin concerns, ask your veterinarian how often bathing is appropriate.

The Family Making Your Farm-Fresh Goat Milk Soap
Goat Milk Stuff is a family-run business built on faith in Jesus, hard work, and a commitment to making farm-fresh goat milk soap with simple ingredients. What began as a way to share the goodness of goat milk and teach our children entrepreneurship has grown into a trusted source for from-scratch goat milk soap made with care.
We make our soap on our family farm using milk from our own goats, creating products we are proud to use in our own home. As our family and business have grown, our purpose has stayed the same: to serve others with integrity, work together, and offer high-quality goat milk products for soft, clean-feeling skin.
Meet the Goats Behind Your Goat Milk Soap
At Goat Milk Stuff, our registered Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are raised with attentive daily care on our 36-acre family farm in Scottsburg, Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky. We believe high-quality goat milk starts with healthy, well-cared-for goats, so our herd has space to roam, access to pasture and woods, shelter from harsh weather, and the hands-on care they need every day.
Our baby goats are raised on their mothers’ colostrum and goat milk, and they stay with attentive care through the weaning process at around 3 to 4 months. Because our dairy goats are milked for about 10 months, we have plenty of fresh goat milk to use in our farm-fresh, from-scratch goat milk soap and skincare. When you choose Goat Milk Stuff, you can feel good knowing the goat milk in our products comes from goats raised with care, respect, and responsible farming practices.
