Description

Tea Tree Mega Goat Milk Soap offers a crisp, medicinal tea tree scent, evoking a refreshing, cleansing experience. Handcrafted with fresh goat milk from our cherished, pastured goats, this oversized natural soap delivers a creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping your skin’s moisture.

Free of harmful chemicals, it’s ideal for sensitive skin and safe for face, hands, and body. If you are not allergic to any ingredients, it leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and revitalized.

Scent

Crisp and clean, the Tea Tree scent is strong, camphor-like, and slightly medicinal thanks to its variety of healing phytochemicals. Derived from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a small tree native to Australia, Tea Tree oil is believed to have antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. In fact, our Tea Tree goat milk soap is a top pick for those with acne and psoriasis.

Somewhat similar in smell to peppermint and eucalyptus, Tea Tree is sometimes used as a natural deodorant. In addition to cleaning and soothing your skin, it will keep you smelling clean and fresh while helping you feel renewed and invigorated.

Size

  • Weighs between 6.5 and 8.5 ounces (most weigh between 7.0 and 7.5 ounces)
  • Measures approximately 3.5" x 1.75" x 2"
  • Arrives 'naked' with no packaging or label

We weigh all soaps six weeks after we make them to make sure they’re heavy enough. As the soaps get older, they last longer. But they might get a bit lighter over time because they lose some water weight.

Benefits

  • Fights Acne Effectively. Tea tree essential oil’s antibacterial compounds, like terpinen-4-ol, target acne-causing bacteria, helping to clear breakouts comparable to common treatments without harsh effects.
  • Soothes Psoriasis and Eczema. Tea tree oil’s anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties calm redness and flaking, while goat milk nourishes to ease irritation in sensitive conditions.
  • Gently Exfoliates Skin. Goat milk’s lactic acid acts as a mild alpha-hydroxy acid to slough away dead cells, promoting smoother texture and a brighter appearance.
  • Reduces Inflammation Naturally. Tea tree oil’s phytochemicals and sunflower oil’s anti-inflammatory effects help diminish swelling from bug bites, cuts, or infections.
  • Deeply Moisturizes Skin. Raw goat milk’s fatty acids, combined with coconut oil’s hydration, restore moisture to dry or damaged skin, such as post-radiation dryness.
  • Strengthens Skin Barrier. Sunflower oil’s linoleic acid and goat milk’s selenium enhance protection against environmental stressors, reducing wrinkles and oxidative damage.
  • Provides Antifungal Protection. Tea tree oil disrupts fungal growth, aiding issues like athlete’s foot or dandruff, for healthier skin and scalp.
  • Eco-Friendly and Unpackaged. Ships without excess wrapping, minimizing waste while delivering sustainable, family-crafted soap with a clean, invigorating scent.

Ingredients

Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Tea tree essential oil, green tea powder.

Raw Goat Milk
Unlike many other soapmakers, we use fresh, raw goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels just a few hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It doesn't have to travel hundreds of miles or be turned into powder. In fact, we often make our soap the same day we milk our goats! Goat milk naturally contains vitamins, minerals, fats, and lactic acid. It's one of the key ingredients that makes our handmade goat milk soap special and helps create a creamy lather that leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.

Natural Fats
We use lard because it makes a wonderful bar of soap! Lard contains fatty acids such as oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. These fats help create a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. During soapmaking, natural fats react with lye to form soap and glycerin. Glycerin helps attract moisture, while the finished soap gently washes away dirt and oil without leaving skin feeling stripped.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil helps our goat milk soap create a rich, bubbly lather that washes away dirt and everyday impurities. It also helps make a firm bar that cleans well and rinses easily. Combined with our other soapmaking ingredients, coconut oil contributes to a pleasant washing experience that leaves skin feeling fresh and clean.

Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil contains fatty acids, including linoleic and oleic acids, and naturally contains vitamin E. We add sunflower oil to our soap recipe because its fatty acid blend helps balance the cleansing and lathering properties of the finished bar. Together with goat milk and our other ingredients, it helps us make a soap that leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and smooth.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are natural, plant-derived oils that add wonderful scents to our goat milk soap. Each essential oil has its own unique aroma, ranging from calming and relaxing to fresh and uplifting. Often used in aromatherapy, essential oils provide a natural way to enjoy a variety of pleasant scents without using synthetic fragrances.

What Does Saponified Mean?
Saponification is the natural chemical reaction that turns fats and oils into soap. We use sodium hydroxide (lye) to make our bar soap and potassium hydroxide to make our liquid soap. During soapmaking, the lye reacts with the fats and oils to form soap and glycerin. When soap is made correctly, the lye is used up in this reaction, so no unreacted lye remains in the finished product.

That's how we turn simple ingredients into handmade goat milk soap!

Directions

  1. Wet. Wet your skin and the soap with warm water.
  2. Lather. Rub the soap between your hands, onto a washcloth, or directly onto your skin to create a creamy lather.
  3. Wash. Gently wash your hands, face, and body. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with your eyes.
  4. Rinse. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all soap lather.
  5. Keep Dry Between Uses. Place your soap on a soap rest that allows water to drain away. This helps your soap dry between uses so it lasts longer.
  6. Patch Test First. If you're trying this soap for the first time, test it on a small area of skin before using it all over your body. Stop using it if irritation occurs.

The Family Making Your Farm-Fresh Goat Milk Soap

Goat Milk Stuff is a family-run business built on faith in Jesus, hard work, and a commitment to making farm-fresh goat milk soap with simple ingredients. What began as a way to share the goodness of goat milk and teach our children entrepreneurship has grown into a trusted source for from-scratch goat milk soap made with care.

We make our soap on our family farm using milk from our own goats, creating products we are proud to use in our own home. As our family and business have grown, our purpose has stayed the same: to serve others with integrity, work together, and offer high-quality goat milk products for soft, clean-feeling skin.

Meet the Goats Behind Your Goat Milk Soap

At Goat Milk Stuff, our registered Alpine dairy goats are raised with attentive daily care on our 36-acre family farm in Scottsburg, Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky. We believe high-quality goat milk starts with healthy, well-cared-for goats, so our herd has space to roam, access to pasture and woods, shelter from harsh weather, and the hands-on care they need every day.

Our baby goats are raised on their mothers’ colostrum and goat milk, and they stay with attentive care through the weaning process at around 3 to 4 months. Because our dairy goats are milked for about 10 months, we have plenty of fresh goat milk to use in our farm-fresh, from-scratch goat milk soap and skincare. When you choose Goat Milk Stuff, you can feel good knowing the goat milk in our products comes from goats raised with care, respect, and responsible farming practices.
