Almond Naked Goat Milk Soap delivers a warm cherry-like scent, evoking cozy comfort. Handcrafted with fresh goat milk from our cherished, pastured goats, this packaging-free natural soap offers a creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping your skin’s moisture.

Free of harmful chemicals, it’s ideal for sensitive skin and safe for face, hands, and body. If you’re not allergic to any ingredients, it leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and naturally nourished.

Scent

Our Almond Goat Milk Soap is brimming with that familiar, cherry-like fragrance we all know and love. A blended bitter almond essential oil produces a sweet aroma reminiscent of fresh-baked treats, both warming and comforting.

Size

  • Weighs between 4.0 and 4.8 ounces
  • Measures approximately 3.5" x 1" x 2"
  • Does not come in a cotton bag

We weigh all soaps six weeks after we make them to make sure they’re heavy enough. As the soaps get older, they last longer. But they might get a bit lighter over time because they lose some water weight.

Benefits

  • Soothes Sensitive Skin: Raw goat milk, rich in selenium and vitamin A, calms irritation and redness, making this soap ideal for sensitive skin types, as praised by users like Lynn C. for its gentle cleansing.
  • Deeply Moisturizes: Goat milk’s fatty acids and coconut oil’s lauric acid hydrate dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth without greasiness, as Pamela A. noted, eliminating her need for lotion.
  • Antibacterial Acne Support: Bitter almond essential oil’s antimicrobial properties help reduce acne-causing bacteria, while goat milk’s lactic acid gently exfoliates, promoting clearer skin, as seen in Carol D.’s glowing results.
  • Antioxidant Protection: Sunflower oil’s vitamin E and linoleic acid combat free radicals, potentially reducing signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles, enhancing skin’s natural barrier.
  • Gentle Exfoliation: Goat milk’s alpha-hydroxy acids and cocoa powder lightly exfoliate, improving skin texture and leaving it radiant, as reported by users like Carol D. for facial cleansing.
  • Warm, Cherry-Like Scent: The bitter almond essential oil provides a comforting, cherry-like fragrance reminiscent of fresh-baked treats, enhancing the bathing experience without overwhelming sensitive noses.
  • Eco-Friendly and Cost-Effective: The "naked" packaging-free design reduces environmental waste and saves money, aligning with sustainable choices while delivering a luxurious lather.
  • Nourishes with Natural Ingredients: Free of harsh chemicals, the soap combines raw goat milk, natural fats, coconut oil, and sunflower oil to nourish skin, as Beth R. experienced with softer, hydrated skin.

Ingredients

Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Almond essential oil; Cocoa powder.

Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.

Natural Fats
Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.

Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution.  If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are purely plant derived and can provide many benefits for you and your skin. From the relaxing and refreshing effects of oils often used in aromatherapy to the reduction of the effects of skin problems like acne, you will find these oils to be powerful, especially when combined with the wonderful qualities of goat milk.

Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.

Directions

  1. Wet. Get both your skin and the soap wet.
  2. Lather. Use your hands, a washcloth, or rub directly on your skin.
  3. Wash. Safe to use on your entire body, including your face and delicate areas. Avoid getting lather directly in your eyes.
  4. Rinse. Thoroughly wash off all the soap lather.
  5. Store Properly. After using, place the soap on a soap rest to dry thoroughly. This will help it last longer.
  6. Patch Test First. This soap should feel fantastic all over your body, except directly in your eyes. To discover any possible allergic reaction, test the soap on a small area of skin first.

"I LOVE this soap! I have been ordering for a few years now, and the almond is always on my list. I have recently tried some other popular goat milk soaps, and although they are okay, your soap is the most subtle - they don't overpower you with scent - and they last soo long. I have sensitive skin, and I can use this with no issues."

The Family Making Your Farm-Fresh Goat Milk Soap

Goat Milk Stuff is a family-run business built on faith in Jesus, hard work, and a commitment to making farm-fresh goat milk soap with simple ingredients. What began as a way to share the goodness of goat milk and teach our children entrepreneurship has grown into a trusted source for from-scratch goat milk soap made with care.

We make our soap on our family farm using milk from our own goats, creating products we are proud to use in our own home. As our family and business have grown, our purpose has stayed the same: to serve others with integrity, work together, and offer high-quality goat milk products for soft, clean-feeling skin.

Meet the Goats Behind Your Goat Milk Soap

At Goat Milk Stuff, our registered Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are raised with attentive daily care on our 36-acre family farm in Scottsburg, Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky. We believe high-quality goat milk starts with healthy, well-cared-for goats, so our herd has space to roam, access to pasture and woods, shelter from harsh weather, and the hands-on care they need every day.

Our baby goats are raised on their mothers’ colostrum and goat milk, and they stay with attentive care through the weaning process at around 3 to 4 months. Because our dairy goats are milked for about 10 months, we have plenty of fresh goat milk to use in our farm-fresh, from-scratch goat milk soap and skincare. When you choose Goat Milk Stuff, you can feel good knowing the goat milk in our products comes from goats raised with care, respect, and responsible farming practices.
