Goat Milk Laundry Soap has no added scent.

Our Laundry Soap is designed to rinse completely out of your clothes. Because of this, any added scent would not be noticeable on your clothes. Commercial laundry detergent can scent your clothes because they use chemicals to bind to your clothing. We do not use these chemicals because they can irritate your skin.

Unscented Goat Milk Soap; Borax; Baking Soda; Washing Soda.

Borax
Borax helps naturally brighten all your laundry, including colors and dark clothes. It naturally softens water so your clothes are ultimately cleaner. It helps the laundry soap to rinse away by keeping the soap part of the laundry soap from binding to your clothes. Borax contains enzymes that will reduce odors. It is also a natural disinfectant and keeps many undesirable organisms, mold, bacteria, fungi, and more from growing. Due to its alkaline pH, borax is particularly good at removing acidic stains (such as spaghetti sauce) from your clothes.

Baking Soda
Baking soda is a gentle abrasive so it helps clean and remove stains. It helps to brighten colorful fabrics and may help deter whites from yellowing. It is wonderful at neutralizing odors from dirty, smelly laundry. Baking soda balances the pH of the laundry water. This helps to naturally soften your clothes, to soften hard water to prevent mineral buildup, and to boost the cleaning power of the laundry soap.

Washing Soda
Washing soda is an abrasive cleaning agent that works powerfully to remove stains and dirt. It is more abrasive than baking soda and is more effective at removing oil residue from your laundry. It softens hard water by binding to the minerals in water. This allows laundry soap to clean more effectively because it can more easily absorb into the clothing fibers to more easily get them clean.

1. Measure the Soap. Use 1 tablespoon of the Natural Laundry Soap. Add up to 1 extra tbsp for particularly dirty laundry.
2. Add to Washing Machine. Place the measured laundry soap directly into the soap dispenser of your washing machine. Alternatively, sprinkle the soap directly onto clothes in the drum (but if the load is very full, it may not all dissolve).
3. Recommended Vinegar Rinse. Add ¼ to ½ cup of white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser. Vinegar helps to naturally soften clothes, enhance brightness, and prevent mineral buildup.
4. Optional Hydrogen Peroxide. Add up to 1 cup hydrogen peroxide to whiten clothes.
5. Wash as Usual. Use hot or cold water, as the soap is effective in both cycles. Run the washing machine according to your normal settings.

Please note: Goat Milk Laundry Soap will not "suds" like store-bought laundry detergent. It will still get your clothes clean, and is better for your washing machine, especially high efficiency (HE) washers.
