Ingredients: Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Lavender essential oil; Natural color.
Commonly used in aromatherapy, Lavender exudes a floral and sweet scent that is revered for its calming effects. As an adaptogen, Lavender naturally relaxes the nervous system, making it the perfect companion for your wind-down ritual before bed or any time you need a moment of peace and clarity. Characterized by the delicate purple hue of its flowers, Lavender may seem airy and light, but the plant is actually complex and resilient ā which reminds us of our gentle, but effective Goat Milk Bath.

How Much Lavender Goat Milk Bath to Use
We'd love to be able to give you a recommended amount of Milk Bath to add to your bath. But just as everyone's skin is unique, people's bathing habits are also unique.
How much Goat Milk Bath to use depends on factors such as...

Ingredients
Ingredients: Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Lavender essential oil; Natural color.
Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.
Natural Fats
Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender is an adaptoge that contains a 'normalizing effect' which counteracts stressors. As such, it may help with difficulty sleeping, anxiety, stress, nervous tension, emotional stress,Ā mild cases of depression, and tension headaches. Itās antiseptic and antifungal properties may help alleviate acne, psoriasis, skin inflammations, and even wrinkles. It can help keep mosquitoes away and some have even used it in the treatment of head lice and nits.
Natural Color
We use natural colors in our soaps to help them to be more distinctive so they can be more easily identified. We use different herbs and spices such as alfalfa (green), turmeric (yellow), or beet root powder (red). When herbs and spices canāt achieve the desired color, we use ultramarines. For example, our blue ultramarine is made from natural lapis lazuli.
Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.

Lavender Goat Milk Bath
Great for All AgesāSafe, Softening, and Milky Bathwater
Incredible stuff. Hooked on it from the first time we purchased and are now down 3 bags and will keep buying more. Our toddler loves helping toss them into his bath and I love the fact that it isn't toxic because there has been a time or two that he speedily put one in his mouth. It smells great and leaves his skin soft. I use it for my bath as well and love the 'milky' look it gives the bathwater.

About Us
The Jonas family is a God-loving, hard-working, ever-learning family that seeks to honor Jesus in all that we do.Ā We began Goat Milk Stuff to share the goodness of goat milk with others, to bring Jim home full-time, and to provide an environment where the children could learn to be entrepreneurs. As the children and Goat Milk Stuff have grown, we've been able to watch all of these goals come to fruition. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to parenting and educating our children.

Meet Our Goats
We breedĀ AlpineĀ andĀ Nigerian DwarfĀ registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky.Ā Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather.
Baby goats are raised on their mom's colostrum and goat milk. Babies are weaned around 3-4 months old. Since the moms are milked for about 10 months, there is plenty of excess milk to use in our goat milk products.
