Emery's Flower Garden Goat Milk Soap blooms with a delicate, floral scent, evoking springtime meadows. Handcrafted with fresh goat milk from our cherished, pastured goats, this natural soap offers a creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping your skin’s moisture. Perfect for sensitive skin, it’s free of harmful chemicals and safe for face, hands, and body. This soap leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and refreshed, provided you’re not allergic to any ingredients. Experience the gentle, nourishing touch of nature with every use.

Scent

Emery has his own flower garden where he raises an assortment of flowers and wildflowers. This soap is a blend of floral fragrances, just like Emery's flower garden.

Size

  • Weighs between 4.0 and 4.8 ounces
  • Measures approximately 3.5" x 1" x 2"
  • Packaged in a labeled, draw-string, cotton bag

We weigh all soaps six weeks after we make them to make sure they’re heavy enough. As the soaps get older, they last longer. But they might get a bit lighter over time because they lose some water weight.

Benefits

  • Hydrates Sensitive Skin: Raw goat milk, rich in fatty acids, selenium, and vitamin A, deeply moisturizes, leaving skin soft and nourished, ideal for dry or sensitive skin, as Sharon W. notes for rosacea relief.
  • Gentle Cleansing: Free of harsh chemicals and detergents, it cleanses delicately without irritation, perfect for rosacea, eczema, or sensitive skin types.
  • Soothes Inflammation: Coconut and sunflower oils’ anti-inflammatory properties calm redness and irritation, promoting a comfortable, healthy complexion.
  • Strengthens Skin Barrier: Sunflower oil’s linoleic acid and coconut oil’s vitamin E reinforce the skin’s natural defenses, reducing dryness and enhancing resilience.
  • Antioxidant Shield: Sunflower oil’s antioxidants protect skin from sun and pollution damage, potentially minimizing fine lines and environmental stress.
  • Vibrant Floral Scent: Paraben- and phthalate-free floral fragrance blend, inspired by a springtime garden, uplifts the senses for a refreshing, joyful cleanse.
  • Gentle Exfoliation: Goat milk’s lactic acid softly removes dead skin cells, improving texture and promoting a radiant, smooth complexion without irritation.
  • Sustainable Packaging: Packaged in a reusable, draw-string cotton bag, perfect for eco-friendly gifting and reducing environmental impact.

Ingredients

Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Fragrance oil blend (paraben-free and phthalate-free).

Raw Goat Milk

Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.

Natural Fats

Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.

Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.

Fragrance Oils
Some of our most popular goat milk soaps are scented with fragrance oils. These scents can't be derived from plants and need to be created with a synthetic component. All fragrance oils are certified paraben-free and phthalate-free.

Saponified

Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.

Directions

  1. Wet. Get both your skin and the soap wet.
  2. Lather. Use your hands, a washcloth, or rub directly on your skin.
  3. Wash. Safe to use on your entire body, including your face and delicate areas. Avoid getting lather directly in your eyes.
  4. Rinse. Thoroughly wash off all the soap lather.
  5. Store Properly. After using, place the soap on a soap rest to dry thoroughly. This will help it last longer.
  6. Patch Test First. This soap should feel fantastic all over your body, except directly in your eyes. To discover any possible allergic reaction, test the soap on a small area of skin first.

The Family Making Your Farm-Fresh Goat Milk Soap

Goat Milk Stuff is a family-run business built on faith in Jesus, hard work, and a commitment to making farm-fresh goat milk soap with simple ingredients. What began as a way to share the goodness of goat milk and teach our children entrepreneurship has grown into a trusted source for from-scratch goat milk soap made with care.

We make our soap on our family farm using milk from our own goats, creating products we are proud to use in our own home. As our family and business have grown, our purpose has stayed the same: to serve others with integrity, work together, and offer high-quality goat milk products for soft, clean-feeling skin.

Meet the Goats Behind Your Goat Milk Soap

At Goat Milk Stuff, our registered Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are raised with attentive daily care on our 36-acre family farm in Scottsburg, Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky. We believe high-quality goat milk starts with healthy, well-cared-for goats, so our herd has space to roam, access to pasture and woods, shelter from harsh weather, and the hands-on care they need every day.

Our baby goats are raised on their mothers’ colostrum and goat milk, and they stay with attentive care through the weaning process at around 3 to 4 months. Because our dairy goats are milked for about 10 months, we have plenty of fresh goat milk to use in our farm-fresh, from-scratch goat milk soap and skincare. When you choose Goat Milk Stuff, you can feel good knowing the goat milk in our products comes from goats raised with care, respect, and responsible farming practices.
