Comfrey contains allantoin, which has been scientifically shown to "aid granulation and cell formation" which is essential to the healing process. This salve does not have any essential oils or other scent added to it, but has a strong, earthy scent from the comfrey.

Comfrey Salve Directions

Clean area with goat milk soap and water and then rub the salve into skin. Because comfrey can cause rapid external healing, it is best to not use it on any deep or puncture type wounds.
