Benefits
Benefits
Real honey emphasizes the natural goodness of this goat milk soap. Honey is not only an antioxidant that protects your skin from damage, but it is also a humectant that helps your skin retain moisture.
Goat milk soap provides many skin benefits, and the miracle of goat milk soap lies in the lactic acid, Vitamin A, Selenium, and other compounds it naturally contains. Lactic acid is a natural alpha-hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates the skin, revealing a youthful and radiant complexion. In addition to lactic acid’s anti-aging properties, goat milk also contains antioxidants, reducing the skin’s oxidative stress (did you know oxidative stress leads to premature aging?). All of these natural benefits are still gentle, meaning Oatmeal Milk & Honey Goat Milk Soap can still be enjoyed by people with sensitive skin or skin conditions.
Skin health is amplified by the naturally occurring minerals of the milk, such as Selenium and Vitamin A, which helps in the repair of sun-damaged skin. Goat milk also contains cream that is incredibly nourishing and moisturizing, which assists in common skin problems like cracking, peeling, and eczema. Oatmeal Milk & Honey Goat Milk Soap thoroughly cleans and moisturizes your skin, while also caring for common skin concerns, all without added harsh chemicals.

Ingredients
Ingredients
Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Oatmeal Milk & Honey fragrance oil (paraben-free and phthalate-free); Honey.
Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.
Natural Fats
Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.
Fragrance Oils
Some of our most popular goat milk soaps are scented with fragrance oils. These scents can't be derived from plants and need to be created with a synthetic component. All fragrance oils are certified paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Honey
Honey has antibacterial properties that may help improve the healing process for skin cells. It can also help your skin retain moisture because it is a humectant. It is anti-inflammatory and can help reduce skin swelling, redness, and irritation. Honey is also anti-microbial and can kill bacteria on your skin, which supports acne-prone skin. Honey can also help to keep pores from clogging.
Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.
Directions
Directions
- Wet. Get both your skin and the soap wet.
- Lather. Use your hands, a washcloth, or rub directly on your skin.
- Wash. Safe to use on your entire body, including your face and delicate areas. Avoid getting lather directly in your eyes.
- Rinse. Thoroughly wash off all the soap lather.
- Store Properly. After using, place the soap on a soap rest to dry thoroughly. This will help it last longer.
- Patch Test First. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test the soap on a small area of skin and discontinue if irritation occurs.

Oatmeal Milk & Honey Goat Milk Soap
I Use Less Lotion
"The Oatmeal Milk & Honey relieves my very dry itchy skin making it softer and more moisturized. I even use less body lotion. Reminds me of when I was a small child to when mom would have to get that oatmeal powder for my baths because of my very sensitive skin. At 72 I still have very sensitive skin. My Dermatologist told me to switch to Dove and I said absolutely NOT."

About Us
The Jonas family is a God-loving, hard-working, ever-learning family that seeks to honor Jesus in all that we do. We began Goat Milk Stuff to share the goodness of goat milk with others, to bring Jim home full-time, and to provide an environment where the children could learn to be entrepreneurs. As the children and Goat Milk Stuff have grown, we've been able to watch all of these goals come to fruition. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to parenting and educating our children.

Meet Our Goats
We breed Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky. Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather.
Baby goats are raised on their mom's colostrum and goat milk. Babies are weaned around 3-4 months old. Since the moms are milked for about 10 months, there is plenty of excess milk to use in our goat milk products.
