Does Bug Out Repel Ticks?

Bug Out can be effective against many kinds of biting insects including ticks, mosquitos, chiggers and more. While we can't guarantee that it will repel all biting insects, we have had many customers provide positive feedback after using the Bug Out products.

What Essential Oils Are Used in Bug Out?

Bug Out is a proprietary blend of essential oils that we purchase from someone else, so we don't know which essential oils are in the blend. If you have any allergies to essential oils or skin sensitivities, we suggest avoiding our Bug Out products or checking with your doctor before using any of them.

Can I Use Bug Out on My Pet?

We've never tested any of our Bug Out products on animals. However, we have had many customers report that they had great success with Bug Out on their dogs and horses. It is not meant to be ingested so if your pet does excessive licking (like cats and some dogs), we do not recommend using it.

Our Scented Pet Goat Milk Soap is specifically designed with pets in mind. This soap also contains a blend of essential oils to repel bugs so we do not suggest using it if your pet licks itself a lot, either.
