Laundry Refill Goat Milk Laundry Soap

Gentle Yet Effective

I’ve been using this product for over 2 years, and it’s by far the best laundry "soap" I’ve ever used! It’s gentle yet effective—stains disappear, and clothing comes out clean and soft. I could never go back to store-bought detergent.

Congratulations, you have discovered the value of chemical-free laundry! Now, you're ready for the best value option for keeping your laundry room stocked. You're using goat milk soaps to keep the nasty chemicals off your skin, but have you considered what chemicals your clothes can carry? Commercial laundry detergents contain chemicals such as optical brighteners that bind to your clothing. These chemicals then come in contact with your skin and can cause irritation.

GMS Goat Milk Laundry Soap is simply made with goat milk soap, borax, washing soda, and baking soda. It doesn't contain any nasty, unwanted chemicals and is not designed to bind to your clothing. This makes it a wonderful alternative to store bought laundry detergents that can be irritating to the skin and bad for the environment.

We have many customers using this soap on cloth diapers with great results. Please note that this GMS Goat Milk Laundry Soap will not "suds" like store-bought laundry detergent. It will still get your clothes clean, and is better for your washing machine, especially high efficiency (HE) washers.

Goat Milk Laundry Soap Sizes

  • Trial (3 oz)= ~5 Tbsp
  • Regular (10 oz) = ~20 Tbsp
  • Refill (5 lb) = ~160 Tbsp

Goat Milk Laundry Soap Directions

These directions are also found on the packaging for your reference.

High Efficiency Machines: Use 1 Tbsp
Regular Washing Machines: Use 2 Tbsp
Use an extra Tbsp for particularly dirty laundry
OK to use in hot or cold water

Optional:
Use 1/2 cup white vinegar in the rinse cycle (fabric softener dispenser) to soften and brighten clothes.
Use up to 1 cup hydrogen peroxide as a whitener instead of bleach.

Most people put GMS Goat Milk Laundry Soap in the soap dispenser. Some customers prefer to put it directly in with their clothes, but if the load is very full, it may not all dissolve.

Notes on Septic Systems

Septic experts generally tell people to avoid using powdered laundry soap for two reasons:
1. too much is often used and does not dissolve properly
2. many 'bargain' powders have large amounts of non-biodegradable fillers such as clay which will clog the pores in the soil in your drain field.

Now the good news... your GMS Goat Milk Laundry Soap requires a small amount of powder per load, so it easily dissolves completely even in high efficiency washers that use far less water. Also, we do not add any such fillers that will lead to premature septic failure. So you can continue to use and recommend the GMS Goat Milk Laundry Soap that you've come to love with confidence!

A Note About Safety: While this is simple, natural soap, it is for laundry use, not on your body. For bathing and handwashing, please try one of our different recipes that works well with your skin.

  • Removes All Stains, Softens Fabrics and Clears Psoriasis

This laundry detergent literally gets everything out. Especially if it’s organic in nature. There is no odor to it and my husband psoriasis on his legs has cleared up. It leaves the sheets and towels soft. I splashed chili on a dress yesterday applied the stain stick and washed. Chili stains gone!😍

  • Eco-Friendly and Cleans Well with Minimal Product

I’ve been using Goat Milk Laundry Soap for a couple of years now. It does a great job without added chemicals, scents, or dyes. You only need a small amount to get a large load clean, so the refill size lasts a long time. I feel like I’m doing a good deed for myself and my family, but also for the environment. P.S. I’m also really pleased with the stain stick. It gets even old and stubborn stains out!

  • Stain-Removing Power That Outperforms Store Brands

We have been using your laundry soap for quite a while. We are very satisfied with it. I had a stain in a favorite sweatshirt which did not come out in the wash. I had previously used the detergent I had from the local store. I applied some of the laundry soap from Goat Milk Stuff & water and scrubbed it. I did not expect it to disappear since it had been washed previously with no results. But I was very happy when it came out quickly by rubbing it.

Meet Our Goats

We breed Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky. Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather. We have approximately 200 Alpine baby goats born every year, and have plenty of baby goats for sale February through April and sometimes after that.
