Activated Bamboo Charcoal Goat Milk Soap

This Goat Milk Soap is our popular, unscented Purity bar with the addition of Activated Bamboo Charcoal. Charcoal is known for its absorptive properties and has been used to help with controlling acne, drawing out impurities, and exfoliating your skin.

This Goat Milk Soap does not have any added scent, but it does still smell like soap. So please check out the link if you are incredibly sensitive to scent. Also be aware that this soap does produce a grey lather. And so we do not recommend using it with white washcloths, as it may stain them.

What Are The Benefits of Goat Milk Soap?

Adding goat milk to your soap provides many benefits for your skin. Goat milk contains lactic acid. This alpha-hydroxy acid helps naturally exfoliates your skin so it looks younger. Goat milk also contains Vitamin A which supports the repair of sun-damaged skin.

The cream in goat milk contributes to naturally moisturizing your skin. Because goat milk contains anti-oxidants, it helps reduce oxidative stress on your skin. Oxidative stress leads to premature aging of your skin and should be avoided. And don't forget that goat milk provides minerals that your skin needs to stay healthy.

The benefits to your skin from Goat Milk Soap are numerous. Using Goat Milk Soap is one of the simplest ways to take incredible care of the health of your skin.

What is Bamboo?

Bamboo is a hardy and fast-growing hard grass that is predominantly found in Asia, Africa, tropical areas, and rainforests. Some of the fastest growing plants in the world are actually bamboo.

Bamboo has many uses including building materials, textiles, weapons, and musical instruments. Because it is easily renewable, it is increasingly used in place of wood in many household items. And of course, bamboo is a food source for animals such as pandas.

What is Activated Bamboo Charcoal?

Bamboo charcoal is simply made by burning bamboo. To turn it into "activated bamboo charcoal", gas or steam needs to be introduced to the charcoal. This creates little pockets (called pores) on the exterior of the charcoal. These pores then act as a catcher for impurities and contaminants when the charcoal comes into contact with other surfaces. These pores also increase the absorption ability of activated bamboo charcoal.

What are the Benefits of Activated Bamboo Charcoal?

Activated bamboo charcoal is said to be capable of drawing dirt and bacteria out of our skin and absorbing it through the charcoal pores. This may help deter acne or other skin conditions.

The uneven surface of charcoal may also have the ability to absorb dead skin cells. It thereby exfoliates the skin and helps to keep it clean and smooth.

Bamboo itself is considered anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-microbial. It is not clear whether any (or all) of these properties pass into the activated bamboo charcoal.

Activated Bamboo Charcoal is also known to aid in odor control because of its absorptive properties. Many people believe it can help with body odor for this reason.

Available Goat Milk Soap Sizes

Our Goat Milk Soaps are available in a few different sizes.

This listing is for the Full Size Goat Milk Soap. Full bars weigh between 5 and 5.3 oz. They are hand-cut, so measurements will vary, but they are roughly 3.5" long by 1.7" wide by 1.7" high. Each Full Size Goat Milk Soap comes in a cotton drawstring bag. The scent is hand-stamped on the front so you can easily identify each soap.

Also available is a Travel Goat Milk Soap. The Travel size weighs at least 1 oz when it is bagged. It measures roughly 1" x 1" x 2". The Travel Goat Milk Soap is packaged in a resealable plastic bag with a recyclable card that contains the scent information. Goat Milk Soap Ingredients

Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Activated bamboo charcoal.

We made Goat Milk Soap for our family for years before making it available to others. During that time, we tested the formula heavily to create the perfect Goat Milk Soap. Our ultimate goal was to create:

  • Goat Milk Soap that moisturizes our skin.
  • Goat Milk Soap that helps with skin problems like cracking/peeling skin.
  • Goat Milk Soap that relieves skin conditions like eczema and acne.
  • Goat Milk Soap that lathers well. (Which is important because we all know that children will wash longer when there are bubbles involved).
  • Goat Milk Soap that lasts a very long time.

We believe we succeeded. And so do thousands of our customers. We pray that this Activated Bamboo Charcoal Goat Milk Soap exceeds your expectations and leaves your skin healthy and feeling great.

A Note About Safety: This soap should feel fantastic all over your body, except directly in your eyes. To discover any possible allergic reaction, test the soap on a small area of skin first. If a reaction occurs, stop using it and try one of our different recipes that work well with your skin.
