Benefits
Benefits
Salves are ointments used to promote skin healing, and they’ve been used for centuries thanks to their ability to stay on the skin and absorb over time. This is why we blend our active ingredients with skin-nourishing extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, essential oils and vitamin E. These ingredients help care for and repair your skin while the salve works its magic.
Our all-natural salves are created to help you with common skin issues and general aches and pains. Whether your muscles are sore after a tough workout, you have a minor scrape or sunburn that needs healing, or you’ve been in contact with poison ivy, we have a salve for you.

Ingredients
Ingredients
Jewelweed-Infused Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E.
Jewelweed
We wild-harvest our jewelweed plants from our woods and infuse the stem, leaves, and flowers in olive oil for use in our soap and salve. According to IndianaNativePlants.org, jewelweed “contains lawsone (hennotannic acid), which is used as an antihistamine and as an anti-inflammatory. It also contains tannin, which is an astringent, and 2-methoxy-1, 4-naphtholoquinine, a fungicide and an anti-inflammatory.” All of these properties make it excellent at combating poison ivy.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is a natural emollient, and can keep your skin hydrated and nourished. Its healthy fats can penetrate deeply into your skin, leaving it soft and supple. It is packed with antioxidants like vitamin E and polyphenols that can help neutralize free radicals and reduce inflammation caused by sun damage. This can help prevent signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines. It contains anti-inflammatory compounds that can help soothe your skin as well as natural antimicrobial compounds that can help fight bacteria on your skin.
Beeswax
Beeswax contains natural emulsifiers, which help to seal in moisture and protect the skin from dryness, making it an excellent natural moisturizer for chapped lips and dry skin. It has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to soothe irritated skin and promote healing. Plus, natural beeswax is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog pores or cause breakouts, making it ideal for use in skincare products.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E oil is a powerful antioxidant than can help your skin look younger because it combats the effects of free radicals which can cause skin aging. It helps moisturize your skin because it stengthens your skin barrier which helps your skin retain moisture. I can also calm your skin by helping to reduce redness, irritation, and inflammation.

About Us
The Jonas family is a God-loving, hard-working, ever-learning family that seeks to honor Jesus in all that we do. We began Goat Milk Stuff to share the goodness of goat milk with others, to bring Jim home full-time, and to provide an environment where the children could learn to be entrepreneurs. As the children and Goat Milk Stuff have grown, we've been able to watch all of these goals come to fruition. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to parenting and educating our children.

Meet Our Goats
We breed Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky. Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather.
Baby goats are raised on their mom's colostrum and goat milk. Babies are weaned around 3-4 months old. Since the moms are milked for about 10 months, there is plenty of excess milk to use in our goat milk products.
