We check all our goat milk soaps for any irregularities before bagging them. Any soap that has a physical blemish is available at a discount as an irregular soap. These bars are still our same great soap - but you can save money because they aren't very pretty.
Some of these irregular soaps could include:
- "Ugly" bars
- Underweight bars
- Misshapen bars
- Off-color bars
Irregular Goat Milk Soap Sizes
These bars could weigh between 3.0 to 4.5 ounces and measure approximately 3.5" x 1" x 2". This differs from bar to bar depending on what the irregularity is in the bar.
They are "naked" bars which means they are not labeled or packaged in any way.
Our Irregular Goat Milk Soaps are safe to apply all over your body, except for directly in your eyes. An allergic reaction may be possible, so prior to using it all over, conduct a patch test on a small area of skin first to discover any sensitivities. If you do have an allergic reaction, stop using immediately.
What is a "Naked" Goat Milk Soap?
It is a discounted soap that is not packaged or labeled in any way...
- No paper wrapping.
- No cotton bags.
- No tissue paper.
- And no stickers or labels whatsoever.
Just goat milk soap. In fact, the only way to identify the soap is by its scent and color. Since a lot of the soaps are the same or similar colors and the scents often co-mingle during shipping, if identifying the soaps is important, please order our bagged soaps.
Once you've identified your favorite goat milk soap, it may be time to try them naked - without any packaging or labeling. Not only is reduced packaging better for the environment, but we pass on the cost-savings to you. Enjoy reduced pricing on these naked soaps.

Does Goat Milk Soap Really Work?
How to Use Goat Milk Soap
To use our goat milk soap, get the soap wet and lather directly into your hands, or on a soft washcloth. The rich, creamy lather will leave your skin clean but not stripped, and after use, you may find that you don’t need to use lotion thanks to our deeply nourishing formula.
Feel free to use this natural soap anywhere including face, hands, and body, though do avoid getting the soap directly in your eyes. For those starting with incredibly sensitive skin, we suggest trying the travel size bar to make sure the soap does not irritate your skin.

Ingredients

Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.
Natural Fats
Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are purely plant derived and can provide many benefits for you and your skin. From the relaxing and refreshing effects of oils often used in aromatherapy to the reduction of the effects of skin problems like acne, you will find these oils to be powerful, especially when combined with the wonderful qualities of goat milk.
Fragrance Oils
Some of our most popular goat milk soaps are scented with fragrance oils. These scents can't be derived from plants and need to be created with a synthetic component. All fragrance oils are certified paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.

Irregular bars, same great quality
We use Goat Milk Stuff for our soap all the time. We recently purchased some soap that was discounted because it is irregular. It might not be visually perfect but it feels the same, smells the same, and washes the same. Save a little coin and grab some irregular bars when they are available. If they are out, grab some regular prices perfect looking bars and support an excellent small business.

Irregular Goat Milk Soaps
Irregular in shape but perfect in quality!
I ordered several bars of “irregular” soaps in different scents to try. I found the only thing irregular about the bars was the cut/shape. They are all a good size and were not shockingly irregular. I’m planning to order more, in different scents, next time the offer is extended.

About Us
The Jonas family is a God-loving, hard-working, ever-learning family that seeks to honor Jesus in all that we do. We began Goat Milk Stuff to share the goodness of goat milk with others, to bring Jim home full-time, and to provide an environment where the children could learn to be entrepreneurs. As the children and Goat Milk Stuff have grown, we've been able to watch all of these goals come to fruition. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to parenting and educating our children.

Meet Our Goats
We breed Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky. Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather.
Baby goats are raised on their mom's colostrum and goat milk. Babies are weaned around 3-4 months old. Since the moms are milked for about 10 months, there is plenty of excess milk to use in our goat milk products.
