What else is special?
- Made of 100% soybean wax. This renewable source means that you are supporting US farmers that grow the majority of the world's soybeans in the Midwest.
- Clean burning cotton wick. The cotton wick we use in your soy candles is completely metal-free.
- Slower burning than paraffin candles. Soy candles last up to 50% longer than paraffin candles.
- Longer lasting scent. Soy candles also burn cooler and cleaner than paraffin wax candles which means they hold their scent better throughout the life of your candle.
- Clean burning. If burned properly, our soy candles do not produce soot.
How to Extend the Life of Your Soy Candle
The Soy Candles have an expected burn time of approximately 18-22 hours, but this is just an estimate. The actual burn time of your candle can be affected by a few factors. Here are some steps you can take to make sure your candle lasts as long as possible:
- Keep your candle away from drafty areas.
- Trim the wick to 1/4" before each use.
- Burn your candle just long enough to let the wax melt across the entire top of the candle. Then extinguish it to let the wax cool down and firm up before lighting it again. Keep in mind, this is just a longevity tip. You can safely let it continue to burn until the bottom gets warm from lack of wax if you prefer. It just won't last as long.
